Couldn't sleep, too many things to stay awake for, like the train. Even when your no where near the tracks trains take you places. Just the sound brings back a thousand pictures... imagine how many words.
She uses the train to escape to early mornings just before school, waiting for the green light even though she'd rather stay inside the car, and good memories too like waking up next to a warm body, waking up next to a warm sunny day, anticipating a hot cup of coffee. Trains represent something good, anticipation, excitement, change. They say all change is good, even a last kiss, a last bit of trust and a fever that changed... everything. Trains close distances, but they expand them too.
It stoped making any sense, it's also not the first time she brought her pillow into the bathroom with her, couldn't be worth much if it wasn't mobile anyway ... things like a pan cake". She should be asleep, in fact she thought she was until she found herself lying there not asleep, awake, letting the train take her away.
She finds herself riding it a lot at absurd hours like 4:21 pm. She doesn't ever really want to go anywhere. She just likes the sound, the movement. It feels safe inside, it makes change more bearable, even exciting.
There is no place she wants to go really so she just hangs on, watches the land scape and scenery change color. She just lets the train chose the destination. But if she could go anywhere, she'd go to sleep.

Latest
I started reading heaven's Library books "Her day in Court" and now "Two Tests and a Wish".
I'm so proud of myself. I always used to tell myself I'd read more but the Lord kind of had to force me into it. Oh yeah, our home got chicken pox and we have been unable to fellowship for a month and three weeks, around that. Thus the late night book worming
Poor kids, it was tough but predictably the Lord brought the best out of the situation. Unity has been a big aftermath of the quarantine... I mean, we had to do something with ourselves!!
Little Tiffy was the last to get it, we even thought she might not get it at all. "Had us goin there for a while kido", but sure enough she broke out in those terrible little lumps about a month after the first brake out. "you won the contest Tiffy".. thats what we told her.
The feast was also such a high light, our whole home was absolutely thrilled. Amazing things are happening people, amazing things, I mean, I did start reading more.
So to wrap it up we are finally at the end of our quarantine and ling looking forward to hugs and fellowship like never before. All things work together for good.

The Nano of Many Colors

The Lord lead us to this great guy, wonderful friend and supporter. His name is Jesus, say that in Spanish and you'll have it.
It was like Christmas in February when he took Tina and I for a night on the town. The highlight of the trip was when he got us some i pods.
These are apparently no ordinary i pods. Mine is golden, I chose yellow but it came out golden.
The next few days were spent exploring the wonders of our pods. We are currently loading Stem's lattes for exercising purposes.
Tonight while walking into the kitchen I felt a special kinship with my i pod. I held it near my nose and whispered something like, "it can think".
A crowed began to gathered. Some people in our home have i pods, not like this tho . I've never known what it was like to have my own, if ever I used one it was never mine and now, here I was, sheltering the latest i pod nano with the rotating screen in the palm of my hand. It was everything they said it would be.
Mine, my own, my precious.
Some one reached out to take it from me and I jerked backward. It was Martin, a look of pain swept across my bewildered face. He wanted it, I could see it in his eyes.
There was an awkward silence. "Some one in the Bible once received a colorful gift". he was right and I new it.
The next five minuets were spent relating the i pod to Joseph's fancy coat and his jealous brothers.
"and she saw their little mp3s bowing to her nano. And the golden nano was like the sun, and the mp3 players like the many little stars. And again they bowed for the nano.
Martin was right. This thing was becoming a God. I threw it in my drawer and slammed it shut.
wanna SEE IT??!!... ok nm.

Valentines Day Post
Have you ever seen a beautiful girl with this ugly guy ?,or this gorgeous guy with with an ugly girl:but all the wile they look so in love? And have you ever took the time to ponder why?''
That's how I started my classes at the juvenile centers this month,in both counties
At Valentines all teens get extra curious about the subject of Love. And in detention, without the distraction of the opposite sex,we were able to explore the subject of LOVE!
How to find it?How to keep it? What qualities should we look for on the other? What is a true friend? Should we bring God into our personal relationships?
What a wonderful subject. I think I grew a little more this month...right along with the teens.
We shared POWER POINTS on the subject from Tommy's window.
Wishing you and your loved ones a very happy Valentines day!

happy Valentines day
I fear you my have misread me and so feel compelled to tell you something, and that is that its not your shinny eyes, your feverishly handsome smile, or that you are usually impeccably dressed.
It's not your muscles or the way your warmth feels pressed against me.
These things are all too familiar and could never compensate, for its your silence dear, your deportment. Its the calm in your eyes when I've blown out a 300 words per minuet, hopeless rant . It's your consistency, regardless of my latest attempts to unravel things. It's your will to remain focused on the goal rather then the many obstacles. Its your dedication to our reason for being here that started me thinking. That's when I knew you were something more then shinny eyes and bulky muscles.
It's that you are my friend.
I hope that after we have been pulled inside out and romance has danced her fickle number on our kindred spirits, friends is what we'll be.
PS. Happy birthday.

catching up
I know I've been silent but its because I've been busy. My Christmas was very fulfilling and we met so many beautiful children. One in particular was a school of blind girls who sang like angels.I want so much to share the last two months with you but time is against me.
In short, I later went for a vacation to a near by beach town, met up with some old friends (Amazing to see you again Jaz and Clare!) and kicked back for a few days.
It amazes me to see how the Lord comes threw for us even during times when we are doing nothing but relaxing. The vacation was not at all well thought out, but it was much more eventful then anything I'm sure we could have thought up ourselves.
We went on wild adventures and ate...some stuff...sniff
Anyway, it was a much needed brake from all my home undertook during the Christmas push. It ended up being "likely" the best get away I ever had.
Till then, here are some shots, one of the CTPs we did during December's Christmas out reach and devotions piled into one of the rooms with the group on a blissful morning in Vallarta Mexico!
I'm hoping to get some of the "out door" shots soon...
Love youClay
PS.
Happy Birthday Vas Myers"! I Love you"!
